ABOUT THE SONG; The music video for Once I Cut The Rose was shot by my super talented friend Sara Kanakova on a random Thursday morning at 5:00am in Prague. We literally improvised our way through the entire shooting and also in the post production. It’s exactly the opposite process than I had with my previous video You, where everything was prepared, very well thought through and there was a proper team of people working on it. Oh, and an actual set, haha. The song Once I cut the rose is about my first experience with a very strong and profound need to protect someone. That feeling was so strong I would have literally removed thorns from a rose stem so my loved one wouldn’t hurt themselves while enjoying the beauty of the flower.
